During an interview last week, author RL Stine quipped that Netflix might develop more Fear Street Movies, with a new report from disgusting Claiming that this is not only pursuing more films, but that they are “very deep” in developing more films. To say the trilogy was an ambitious experiment would be a bit of a simplification. From a narrative point of view, unlike The scream of terror movies inspired by stein books, Fear Street He told his own original story that aims to capture the tone and spirit of his original books. While the development of so many films in the same city is completely unheard of, jumping to different time points and weaving a centuries-spanning story together was a gamble that paid off, which was also possible thanks to all three films being shot over one extended production cycle.
The release of the trilogy was also exciting, with each part premiering on Netflix on consecutive Fridays, preventing audiences from having to undergo long waits between sequels.
Given that the trilogy presented a number of unsettling threats, it’s certain that upcoming entries could focus on any of these characters, or perhaps head into entirely new territory. Janiak previously shared that she would like to see a profile Fear Street The franchise has become something akin to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
